Clarington-Durham Knights Bantam

The Durham Knights were all but dust in the wind before they were plucked from the heap of non-existance this past January. With the dissolving of the partnership between the Oshawa Hawkeyes and the Clarington Tigercats, the South Central Ontario Football League had already put the armor to rust and the steeds to pasture.

Clarington executives had other plans for the young 'Lords' in black and blue. Clarington was more than ready to step up and take complete charge of the Knights team by placing them under their wing. After three long months of negotiations a deal was finally struch after both sides were able to come to an agreement on territorial rights for the next two years.
